TASKS:
Develop strategies, measureable objectives and policy relating to promoting industry participation, cooperation and competition in the IT and C4ISR business of the Agency
Monitor and analyse the IT and C4ISR industry. This includes knowing the companies involved in this market and the key players in each company, knowing trends and issues, and promoting opportunities for partnering and sharing knowledge between the Agency and industry
Provide expert advice, recommendations and support regarding Life-Cycle aspects of industrial cooperation
Act as point of contact and interface in the NCI Agency for planning and organising industry visits, defence exhibitions, conferences and workshops
Ensure close relations with NCI Agency stakeholders on the relevant issues;- Provide or contribute to high-level briefings, presentations and speeches for the NCI Agency General Manager- Perform any other duties as may be required
 

 

Job requirements: 

Demonstrated experience (at least ten years) in defence cooperation and industrial policy in either industry or government capacity
Excellent knowledge in European and transatlantic defence industrial policy issues
Thorough knowledge of the C4ISR industry (including small and medium enterprises, start-ups and, not-for-profit bodies), business practices, and issues related to doing business with government organisations
Proven ability to organise conferences, workshops and meetings with government and defence industry
A track record of high performance in implementing new ideas and strategies particularly as it relates to industry engagement
Experience in strengthening existing relationships with the private sector and building new ones especially with small business and start-ups
Experience issuing management reports on work performed by an organisation and explaining and defending the details of the reports to senior levels
Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with very good briefing and speech-writing skills
