Job description: 

LOCATION: Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy, Hungary

CLIENT: NATO

DURATION: 6 months with possible extensions

SALARY: Negotiable daily rate

WORK HOURS: Normal office hours

CLEARANCE: NATO Secret

  • Executing clerical work such as maintaining a filing system
  • Registering and distributing incoming correspondence
  • Proofreading and ensuring the correctness and format of outgoing correspondence and assigning filing numbers
  • Maintaining records in corporate databases
  • Assembling, reproducing and distributing documents
  • Receiving visitors and answering telephone calls
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Reports and statistics as required, using office automation equipment and software
  • Performing other profile-related tasks as required
  • Assisting in maintaining approved financial accounting
  • Assisting in monitoring, controlling and administering customer accounts
  • Assisting in controlling and distributing customer billing as required
  • Assisting in processing invoices

 

Job requirements: 

  • Complete secondary school or equivalent education. Further training in the field of finance would be an asset
  • Personal suitability and relevant experience in commercial and financial accounting normally acquired in a similar organization or the private sector
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience for Level 3
  • Ability to operate standard office computer equipment and software
  • Strong knowledge of PC based Microsoft Office software packages: e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good health conditions, fit for profile-related tasks
  • Working knowledge of English: SLP-2-2-2-2 as defined in NATO STANAG 6001

 

Additional information: 

  • Knowledge of Systems Applications Products real-time; version 3 (SAP-R/3) would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of data processing tools and database management systems such as Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge in following fields e.g. accounting, controlling, billing, etc.
